Who qualifies?

Active union members and their immediate family members, including spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, and siblings.

How much does it cost?

Tuition is significantly discounted through partner colleges. Bachelor's programs start at $90 per credit. A 120-credit bachelor's at this rate is about $10,800 in tuition. Members may further lower their costs by applying federal financial aid and any employer tuition assistance they qualify for.

Will my previous college credits transfer?

Yes. Partner colleges accept up to 90 transfer credits toward a bachelor's degree, including credit for work and military experience.

Are programs 100% online?

Yes. All 183 certificate, associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs are 100% online and designed for working adults.

How long does a degree take?

Most members complete a bachelor's in 18 to 36 months depending on transfer credits and pace. Certificates can finish in as little as 8 to 15 weeks.

Are the colleges accredited?

Yes. All partner colleges are regionally accredited, the same standard as traditional universities.

When can I start?

Partner colleges offer multiple start dates per year, usually every 6 to 8 weeks.

Is financial aid available?

Yes. In many cases you can stack federal aid like Pell Grants and loans, employer tuition assistance, and the union discount.
